What’s in Season?

Having relocated to Miami from New York, one of my greatest pleasures is calling NY friends in January and gloating about how I just picked the sweetest strawberries and the meatiest tomatoes. Yes, Florida’s winter harvest is definitely one of the perks of living here!

Throughout the year,  I try to shop for fruits and vegetables that are in season because they are usually tastier and cheaper.
